María Castillo Orenes was born in Albacete in 1997. She obtained her degree in Biotechnology at the Universidad Miguel Hernández in 2019. During the last year of her degree she started a practices in the group in which she perform her final project on synthesis and characterization of phthalocyanines and diketopyrrolopyrroles under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ángela Sastre Santos, Jorge Follana Berná and Maria João Álvaro Albuquerque Martins. She is currently studying the Master’s degree in Molecular Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
